DESCRIPTION

The Wild Man is a figure from popular imagination found in many cultures, part human, part animal, often depicted as completely covered in fur and part plant. 

In Alpine culture, the Wild Man, or Selvadego, serves as a bridge between the real, human, urban, and civilized world and the unknown and unreal world that takes shape in the shadows of the woods, the realm of fantastic and mythological characters.

Silenus is the representation of this phenomenon in Greco-Roman culture, often depicted in the court of Dionysus or as a master and companion of the fauns.

SILENO represents wisdom in the excess.

This fragrance begins with an accord created to recall the scent of human skin, with lactonic notes of sandalwood enriched with spices. The arboreal element is enhanced by the green notes of bourbon geranium and lavender, and the resinous notes of cypress and juniper, with a highly animalic base of musk, castoreum, and precious woods.

Mineral notes remind us of rocks, cold stream water, and tonka bean, the key to the fougère formulation, adds a touch of sweet elegance.
