PELLE DI FAUNO gets its inspiration directly from greek mythology.

Satyrs are creatures of the forest, they symbolize freedom and self affirmation. 

They are half beast (goat) and half human and they are particularly well known for their extremely free sexual behavior. 

Satyrs are usually depicted as tireless fornicators, following nymphs everywhere trying to copulate with them, or protagonists of group orgies. 

They symbolize the idea of sex for pleasure, without procreation, and this may be the reason why catholic church transformed this figure in the devil. 

I imagined an awakening en plein air, a bunch of fauns resting under a huge tree. The sun is rising above the horizon of the sea. The salty breeze melts with the glittery drops of sweat on the skin, laying like dew on the leaves of bushes hidden by the golden dunes.

A collective embrace after a night of passion, the sticky smell of wild beastly sex.
